What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an ancient health system that focuses on maintaining balance in the mind, body and soul. It promotes health by encouraging us to work with our natural rhythms, follow the seasons and eat foods that nourish our individual make-up.
This ancient wisdom looks at the whole person — including diet, sleep, emotions, environment, and daily habits.
‘Ayuh’ in Sanskrit means ‘Life’ and ‘Veda’ meaning ‘Science’ and translates to ‘Science of Life’ or ‘Life Science’.
